Skagit River Float & Wine Tasting Package

A Taste of the Skagit

A perfect way to welcome the fall season  - a scenic float down the Skagit River combined with a picnic lunch and a wine tasting at the local Glacier Peak Winery.

We've previously only offered this trip to groups, but now you can arrange for this fun filled day on your own.

Skagit River Bald Eagle Float TripThe day begins with our classic Skagit River Fall Colors float trip and ends with a stop at Glacier Peak Winery for a tour and tasting.  If time allows we'll also make a stop at Cascadian Farms.

Included with your package is the Skagit River Float Trip; picnic lunch; wine tasting - a great value for a day of fun and food!

Price Adults: $87 with Lunch / $77 without Lunch 
Price Children (12 & under) or Seniors (65 & older): $67 w Lunch / $57 w/o Lunch

Skagit Float & Wine Tasting:

Season: Spring through Fall ~ be sure to reserve your trip in advance, weekends fill up very quickly!

Meeting Place: Meet at Rockport on Highway 20.  Your confirmation will provide details.

Driving Directions: Driving time from Seattle allow 2.5 hours, from Tacoma 3 hours. Take I-5 North to Burlington go East on Hwy 20 to Rockport. Contact Phone number 360-757-1201 or call toll free 866-389-1349

Trip Times: Meet at 10 AM unless other arrangements have been made.

What to wear:

Proper Clothing is very important / Remember You loose your heat through your head and your feet! Seasonal temperatures vary so please call if you have any questions about the differences

  • Dress in Layers - you can always take something off if you are too warm!
  • Wool or synthetic polar fleece sweater and pants (seasonal)
  • Water repellent rain pants & Jacket with hood or Poncho
  • Warm HAT
  • Gloves or Mittens (seasonal)
  • Thick Wool or Polar Fleece Socks (seasonal)
  • Rubber insulated boots, hip waders, after-ski Boots, etc. (seasonal)

What to bring: Camera, Binoculars or Video camera  in a plastic bag. We can supply dry bag if needed.  You may also want to bring your lunch or a snack if you have not signed up for a lunch trip.
